Country Relics Village
“Down On The Farm”   “Stroll Into The Past”
1991 Iowa Tourism Attraction of the Year

A scaled down version of an early 1900s village, Country Relics Village is tastefully detailed with authentic artifacts – children’s furnishings, salesman’s samples, and toys. In addition to the “little” village, the complex includes Century Hall of Miniatures, Just Like ‘Little House On the Prairie’, the original Stanhope Chicago Northwestern Depot and a replica of the Hove and Mathre McCormick Machines dealership.

Come, “Stroll Into The Past”.

“I have travelled to every State in the United States, and taken in every antique farming and village along the way. Country Relics Village is the best I’ve seen! It is so authentic, so homey, so realistic–I loved it,”
Mrs. Joanne Hill, Humboldt, Iowa

Owners Varlen and Fern Carlson also invite you to visit the Country Relics Village gift shop, complete with items reminiscent of the past including tin mechanical toys, music boxes, Enesco Nursery Rhyme Figurines and Snowsnickles, Jacqueline Kent Collectibles, Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls, tops, kaleidoscopes, jack in the boxes, three character fairy tale dolls, wooden games, Christmas decorations, and etc.

The Carlsons’ private collections are a delight to visitors of all ages.
